Climate Monitoring in ANWR

In the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge with the USGS. This is a beautiful area with Moose, Grizzly, Polar bear, Muskox, Wolves, Wolverines and Caribou. Everyday we get to see something. This is the reason I love Alaska.

Here Shane and Frank prepare to check the Climate Monitoring system.

This is what a climate monitoring system looks like. They (USGS) have several of these devices spread all over the North Slope, from the Brooks Range going north to the Arctic Ocean, and from the Bearing Sea on the west coast going east to the Canadian border.
